Campus Ministries of Virginia  www.campusministriesofvirginia.com

We are a church committed to raising leaders to reach college students here in the state of Virginia. Currently, we have three full-time campus ministers who evangelize and disciple college students at the University of Virginia. This involves Bible studies throughout the week, and weekly fellowship events that are run with the UVA student organization Cavalier Life. Further, we train and equip young people who feel a call into full-time campus ministry, including the means to raise a financial support base. CMV staff also trains and encourages other regional churches in their college and young adult ministries, through an annual conference and other leadership seminars. Our staff are Michael Lusk, Luke and Hwa-Jung Strohm, and Andrew McDowell.
Horizon Missions  www.horizon-fr.org
Since 1990, our church has provided the administrative and financial support for missionaries in Europe, primarily Robert and Kathryn Baxter, who pastor the Church of the Good Shepherd in Paris, France. These relationships offer opportunities for short-term mission teams to help different Horizon churches in Europe.
Central Virginia Prayer Center  www.cvaprayercenter.com

Our church has been a leading part of a city-wide effort to establish a 24-hour prayer center. We have set aside a space in the Olde Town Center, where different prayer and worship teams come on regular shifts throughout the week. We hope that through the blend of music and prayer (harps and bowls – Revelation 5:8), we will see a mighty move of God in our community. In its early stages of development, we are very excited to see the effect this devotion to prayer will make, and we welcome new people to join in with us (for more information)! The prayer center also offers a 9-month internship. See www.greatcommissioninternship.com for more details.
